Composed of Maldives, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India, with the last one leading in terms of economic growth, South Asia is slowly proving that it is also catching up with the rest of the world. But among the names in the list, India is not the only noteworthy country, there is also the small island country of Sri Lanka. Since 2005, the per capita income of the country has been increasing every year. The poverty line has also exhibited a continuous drop through the years, even the stock market has been doing good. And one of the greatest contributors to this economic growth is none other than the commercial capital, Colombo. Being a port that has been opened to the world, Colombo has been a strategic location of business and trade since the early times. Since then, Colombo has known to be fluid in terms of cultural, religious, and modern influences. Because of this, Asia Business Partners (ABP) Limited is celebrating a partnership with Ava Asia Apartments (Private) Limited, with the 3-hectare Colombo Apartment House Project. The project is housed just around 500 meters from the the National Assembly building or the Parliament Building, in addition to being along the vicinity of a golf course and a famous relaxation resort. A monorail is also expected to be completed along the area, making the place accessible to all future dwellers. With the Colombo Apartment House Project, ABP and Ava Asia aim to build a new residential and commercial complex, complete with three 40-storey condominiums, a hotel, a cinema complex, restaurants, shops and even a hospital.
